...off the chlog...
I'm boarding on Faithship again, but I didn't go to Church today instead I was at a hospital and I'm going to be there again. My Mom needs prayers from all the followers of Jesus who come across this FaithShip, please pray that she will get well soon, that I still have time to fix my mistakes. Jesus I believe in you, I believe in your Miracle, I believe you always plan the good things for your loves. Amen and thank you.

Hate vs Love
...off the Chlog...
I finally take off Persecutionblog link from my blog.
I would agree with it if its focus were to strengthen all Christians who live in non-Christian countries who are facing problems in carrying out their faiths.
All I can see in that persecution blog is hatred, weakening some Christians' faith and diminishing God's power.
Read this entry that I quote from its November 2, 2005 entry:
Why then God sent Jesus to this world if not to face dangers to safe us human?
......Love your enemies
.........Do good to those who persecute you
Who said carrying the Cross is easy?
Please pray for my country, Indonesia.
God bless you all, thank you.

More Beheading PicturesDo you think Jesus would agree with that sayings?
Are you grossed out? Good. I had a friend send me more pictures of this grisly beheading that is continuing to be ignored by the mainstream media.
And all I can say is that if you think that being a Christian in a country where Islam is the majority religion, well, this is your future.

Our Relationship
was on 9 May 2004
A lot of times we said we believed in God, yet our actions show otherwise.
Do we believe in His resurrection? Or we're no different than Thomas?
Thomas had rather unique character, he's sometimes 'lost'-- somewhere.
Thomas had been with him for long time but still he demanded proof.
Yet Jesus loved Thomas still and gave him peace that enlightened him.
That made Thomas learn important lesson.
Some people are willing to change like Thomas, but some were just reluctant, like Judas Iskariot who betrayed Him.
Like Jesus who brought peace to the world, so do we, must bring peace to other.
In fact, that's also the meaning of the Cross: to maintain a vertical relation i.e. with God and also horizontal relation, i.e. with others.

The thing called Faith
Faith No More.....
Q: What is Faith?
A: Faith is not about having a hope or more and sitting silently believing that thing/s will happen soon or later. Faith is something that we should act actively by living in God's way.
Still have the mountain in-situ?
Still have your wish unanswered?
Check if your faith is agreeable to His Will; remember it is He who knows what best for us. We must first be harmonical with Him
To-do-List:
1. Have a vision, an immediate and a long one.
2. Set steps to get the target
3. Have courage to pay the price
Zz..zzz........I was one third asleep, could not really get what the preacher said at that moment. That was all less and no more, so I did a deliberate dig on the net and found this Goal Setting study is somewhat similar but more thorough and outlined.
Alleluia....

In His time He makes everything beautiful
Those words are some of what the reverend lady mentioned today.
As written in Ecclesiastes 3:11, He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the hearts of men; yet they cannot fathom what God has done from beginning to end.
I like those words. If He made everything beautiful in my time right when I want it, then there won’t be so much thrill, less excitement. And life should be of excitement.
We may have had bread of adversity and water of affliction, but.....as taken from Psalm 199:
That’s all for now, the rest I forgot.

67 Before I was afflicted I went astray,
but now I obey your word.
71 It was good for me to be afflicted
so that I might learn your decrees.
That’s all for now, the rest I forgot.

About The Journey

FaithShip started as my Church attending log, though it later also contains anything related to my Faith journal. I was born Christian and I live in Indonesia. There are many things in Christianity that are still mysteries to me, but one thing that bonds me to keep following Jesus is Love. For me, I've never ever seen Love as I see in Jesus. Even though I keep slipping, I've already known The Way, I know I won't 'die'.
